Making a positive impact
Diverse Experiences
Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of making a positive impact in various settings. From supporting the nutritional needs of college students at Georgia State University to assisting patients in a hospital outpatient clinic, my expertise extends to areas such as bariatric nutrition, weight management prediabetes, diabetes, gestational diabetes, and other chronic conditions including PCOS, hypertension, and cholesterol management.
Staying active and always learning
Beyond the Nutrition Desk
While my days are dedicated to guiding individuals towards their nutrition goals, there’s a whole world of passions and interests that define who I am outside of work. Nothing brings me more joy than spending quality time with family and friends (and my three cats). Most evenings, you’ll often find me on the couch reading one of my latest book choices.
When I have the opportunity, I also enjoy traveling and exploring new places to learn about different cultures, enriching both my personal and professional experiences.
As a former college swimmer and coach, the love for exercise runs deep. Whether it’s swimming, hitting the gym or meeting a friend for a long walk, staying active is a non-negotiable part of my lifestyle.
Game days are a special affair for me as well, as I passionately cheer on my favorite sports teams. From the Gamecocks and Atlanta United FC to the Philadelphia Eagles, I am an avid supporter of my teams.
